Cisco 25G Switch Available Q3CY15
At Cisco Live in San Diego, Cisco announcements included new Nexus 3200 Top of Rack switches for next generation 10G/25G/40G/50G/100G cloud data centers. The Nexus 3232C is the company’s first 25G switch. The Nexus 3232C delivers 128 ports of 25Gb or 32 ports of 100Gb and will be available Q3CY15.

- PHY-less design on all ports to optimize latency
- 32 fixed 100 Gigabit Ethernet (GE) Quad Small Form-Factor Pluggable 28 (QSFP 28) ports
- Supports 10G/25G/40G/50G/100G in a single ToR platform.
- Supports mobility and tenant isolation with VXLAN

- PowerOn Auto Provisioning (POAP) and PXE for touchless bootup and configuration of the switch
- Cisco Embedded Event Manager (EEM) and Python scripting as well as NX-API
- Advanced software-defined networking (SDN) capabilities, including support for Chef, Puppet, and Open Flow
Integration with Cisco Prime Data Center Network Manager (DCNM) and XML management tools
